Fabulous Gourmet will be at the Nook Atmosphere Open House, Sunday November 2nd with some decadent treats and organic cookies. Come and check out Downtown Barrie, the amazing Nook Atmosphere and sample our delicious desserts. Shopping and chocolate….can it get any better?
I just wanted to thank everyone who ordered and everyone who has provided me with so much encouragement this holiday season. Hopefully it will be the first of many for Fabulous Gourmet Patisserie.

Applesauce Babycake
During my pregnancy, I was very concerned with nutrition and taking my pre-natal vitamins. When my daughter was born, I persisted with nursing her despite the horrible pain it caused me for the first three months of her life. When she began solid foods, we fed her organic cereal and made our own baby food from organic produce and veggies from our garden. Now that she is approaching her first birthday, the big question is what are we going to do for her birthday cake? Most commercial and specialty shop cakes are loaded with fat and sugar. There is a lot of concern in the medical world about the effects of artificial food colouring on children especially relating to hyperactivity. As a baker, I am determined to make a better cake for my baby and babies everywhere.

Fabulous Gourmet Patisserie’s Babycakes are different from the florescent coloured sugar bombs you find in other bakeries. Babycakes are cute little cakes made with all natural ingredients and no additives that your baby will love.
Babycakes are available in Banana, Applesauce, Carrot, Zucchini and Pumpkin flavours and can be made with organic ingredients.
